YEREVAN.- There might be a feeling that the Armenian parliament watches either “CNN”, or "Russia Today", Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan said on Monday at the parliamentary hearings “On  the start of the process of denunciation of the Republic of Armenia from the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union” that was presented by Yelk opposition group.

According to him, members of some opposition factions tried to mislead listeners, because of which there was a feeling that some people want to demonize the issue of Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in every possible way.

"But these platforms are intended not for propaganda. They are intended for concrete statements,” Ashotyan said, stressing that this issue should not be politicized.
