Armenia increasing science funding by 82%

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government has approved the draft budget for 2022, which envisages an 82% increase in science funding, Chairman of the parliament's Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan said in a Facebook post on Thursday, September 30.

Tunyan revealed that funding for culture, education, science and sports will increase by 27.4% to AMD 223 billion next year.

With an 18.2% increase in expenditures year-on-year, the budget was approved by the government and sent to the parliament.
