Armenian weightlifters secured three gold, two silver and two bronze medals at European Championship (video)
Armenian weightlifting team won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the European U15 and U17 Championships. Eight out of ten athletes won prize places, including the small medals won in snatch and throwing exercises. Two of the three gold medals were won by weightlifters from Gyumri. Team coach Gevorg Davtyan is satisfied with the performance of the players.
