Karabakh villagers burning their homes before leaving land to Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Residents of the village of Dadivank in the Karvachar region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Krabakh) are burning down their homes so that they are not left to Azerbaijan, according to footage from the scene.

The road connecting Karvachar to the Armenian side is full of cars and trucks transporting people, property and cattle to safety.

In districts that are set to be transferred to Azerbaijan under a trilateral statement by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, people are dismantling shops, houses, substations.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a deal to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday that he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
