YEREVAN. – The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is likely to issue a statement to give assessment of the yesterday's events and the meeting with the PM, deputy chairman of RPA Armen Ashotyan told reporters in the parliament.

“I am using the word ‘meeting’ on purpose, as these were not talks. The head of the government said he just came to inform lawmakers of his political decisions,” Ashotyan said, adding that Pashinyan initially had an idea to hold snap parliamentary elections in December.

Ashotyan said he has an impression that Pashinyan’s resignation and the idea of holding snap parliamentary elections is pre-planned program.
