Karabakh troops destroy more of Azerbaijan's arms, manpower

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army troops continued reconnaissance and fire engagement operations to eliminate Azerbaijani groups, thanks to which a large amount of the enemy's ammunition and manpower were destroyed overnight, the Defense Army said Friday, October 30.

After midnight, the Azeri forces attempted a new attack in the southeast of the front, which was thwarted by the Karabakh army units.

The Azeri forces also attempted to achieve success in the northern sector of the front line, which was also suppressed.

Azerbaijan also continued shelling peaceful settlements.

At present, the Defense Army troops are continuing their operations to detect and destroy the remaining Azeri groups.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
