YEREVAN, JUNE 24, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian signed the package of bills on making changes and amendments to the Constitutional Law on Parliament’s Rules of Procedures and the related laws which regulate the procedure of adoption of Constitutional amendments by the Parliament.

After the bill is adopted, the President of the National Assembly will publish the law on Constitutional changes adopted by the parliament, after which the tenure of three members of the Constitutional Court will be suspended, while the incumbent Chairman of the Court will become member of the Court. 

Thus, the Constitutional amendments adopted by the Parliament will enter into force after being published by the Speaker of Parliament. The Law on Constitutional amendments will enter into force on the day following its publication by the Speaker of Parliament.
