YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan believes economic revolution should have long-term impact on people's lives, ARMENPRESS reports the PM said in a business forum in Los Angeles.  

''Armenia is famous for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant history, hospitability and wonderful landscape. But it's not enough for making the reputation of our country full. Today we change the way of managing our country and economic model. At the same time, we have to guarantee that Armenia's economy is dynamic and responsible to changes that occur globally. Last year the people of Armenia chose the path of changes, we chose freedom and democracy and showed that nothing is more powerful than the belief and activities of the people and the political developments are just the first step’', the PM said, adding that economic revolution is in process in Armenia.

He clarified that it means that the Government rejects corruption, monopolies and encourages the creativity and talent of the people, trying to make the Armenian economic regionally and internationally competitive.

''I believe that our reforms are strategic and long lasting. Therefore, the economic revolution should have a long-term impact on the economic development of the country and people's lives'', the PM said, presenting the positive economic results recorded in Armenia.
