The Armenian National Assembly is today debating the motion on stripping Republican MP Manvel Grigoryan of parliamentary immunity to press criminal charges against him and deprive him of liberty filed by Armenia’s Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan.
Parliament Speaker Ara Babloyan announced that Grigoryan is also set to attend today’s session upon the Constitution, however the MP issued a message on Monday asking the parliament to vote for stripping him of immunity without his presence.
The prosecutor general presented the motion to the parliament.
