A group of Polish architects from Wroclaw were hosted on Wednesday at the “Service for the Protection of Historical Environment” NCSO to discuss the implementation of new projects with Armenian colleagues. As the Service reported in a released statement, the new format of the cooperation envisages specialized studies at the sites of ancient monuments, training of the specialists and exchange of experience.
During the meeting with the Head of NCSO Ara Tarverdyan, Deputy Chair at Architecture and Technology department at Wrocław University of Science and Technology Yasek Koschyuk presented number of projects implemented by the Polish architects in Egypt, Poland, Sudan, research activities and renovation of historical monuments through 3D planning among other things. A suggestion was made to recreate Zvartnots Temple through 3D planning, the source said.
