A soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces died on Tuesday after accidentally falling into a gorge, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee Naira Harutyunyan told Panorama.am.
The private identified as Hamlet Avagyan, 19, who was also a medic, suffered fatal injuries after slipping and falling into a gorge while heading from one military unit to another, she said.
Authorities are preparing materials on the incident.
