Armenian’s main New Year tree set up in capital Yerevan has been named among the three tallest New Year trees in the capitals of the CIS countries.
The 37-meter high Yerevan New Year tree comes second on the list compiled by TurStat analytical agency after that of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, which is 40 meters high.
The New Year tree set up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan which is 36 meters high, ranks third on the list.
