Fruit, vegetable prices up by 5.6% in March

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages dropped by 2.8% in Armenia last month from the same period last year and grew by1.3% to compare with February data previous, which was largely prompted by 4.4% and 6.4% growth in fruit and vegetable prices, respectively.

According to the latest data published by the Statistical Committee, prices of vegetables fell by 6.6% in March this year to compare with March 2019, and increased by 6,4% from February of the ongoing year.
