Berlin seeks “goal-oriented negotiations” in Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Berlin wants to involve Armenia and Azerbaijan in goal-oriented negotiations for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, German ambassador to Azerbaijan Michael Kindsgrab told journalists on Tuesday, October 4, according to AzerNews.

He said that Germany, currently chairing the OSCE, is a member of the organization’s Minsk Group, which is assigned to tackle the issue.

The current Co-chairs of the Minsk Group are Ambassadors Igor Popov of Russia, Pierre Andrieu of France and James Warlick of the United States. The Group’s permanent members are Belarus, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland, and Turkey, as well as Armenia and Azerbaijan.
