At least two Apple users in Armenia fell victim to Pegasus spyware, Ruben Muradyan, chief information security officer at VXSoft, said on Wednesday.
“Apple started sending warning emails to Pegasus victims. There are at least 2 persons in Armenia, who received it tonight,” he wrote on Facebook.
In a statement on Tuesday, Apple said it filed a lawsuit against NSO Group and its parent company to hold it accountable for the surveillance and targeting of Apple users with its hacking tool.
“The complaint provides new information on how NSO Group infected victims’ devices with its Pegasus spyware. To prevent further abuse and harm to its users, Apple is also seeking a permanent injunction to ban NSO Group from using any Apple software, services, or devices,” the company said.
