Peaceful settlement of NK conflict is Armenia’s key priority – senior lawmaker

Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan received on January 31 Ambassador of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacote and Doctor of Geopolitical Sciences Frédéric Encel, ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of the parliament of Armenia.

Greeting the guests at the parliament, Ruben Rubinyan hoped that the parliamentary cooperation with the representatives of the international expert community will become more regular and productive.

During the meeting the sides referred to the regional developments and a number of geopolitical developments.

Particularly, speaking about Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Rubinyan noted that the peaceful settlement of the conflict is the key priority for Armenia. He highlighted peaceful negotiations in the context of the right of the people of Artsakh to express their free will.
