President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia arrived in Germany on Thursday on a working visit ahead of the Munich Security Conference, his office reported.
President’s first stop was Heidelberg where he met with the mayor of the city, Professor. Dr. Eckart Würzner. At the meeting, the parties touched upon the great potential for cooperation in the area of science. Würzner noted that Heidelberg is one of the fastest growing cities of Germany. He underscored that the city possesses a great potential in the scientific sector, particularly in medical science. “We hope that we can cooperate in this and other areas,” Professor Würzner said.
