The international sanctions against Iran is a very sensitive topic for Armenia and continuing traditional and friendly relations with its neighbor is of key importance for the country, Acting Deputy Foreign Minister Karen Nazarian said at the joint session of the parliament’s standing committees on European integration and budgetary affairs on Tuesday.
Commenting on a lawmaker’s question regarding US National Security Adviser John Bolton’s statement on the Iran sanctions and the expected reactions from the other regional states, the official voiced concerns that an improper reaction to the issue may lead to Armenia’s isolation.
