Armenian President discusses cooperation prospects with Qatar Investment Authority in Doha

President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian met with Head of Investments at the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) Ahmed Ali Al-Hammadi and regional representative Faisal Bin Thani Al-Thani during his official visit in Doha. The meeting was also attended by Director General of the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) Davit Papazyan, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

During the meeting the cooperation prospects with Armenia, the possibilities to implement joint projects were discussed and also importance was attached to the establishment of effective partnership between the Armenian National Interests Fund and the Qatar Investment Authority.

As possible cooperation directions with Armenia the meeting participants highlighted the fields of energy, food safety and logistic infrastructures. An agreement was reached to continue the discussions on the necessary information exchange and future cooperation opportunities between the ANIF and the Qatar Investment Authority.
