Students staged fresh protests in Yerevan on Monday to express support to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) still blocked by Azerbaijan.
The blockade began on 12 December, when a group of so-called Azerbaijani “eco activists” stopped traffic on the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, known as the Lachin corridor, citing “illegal” mining activity in the area.
The protesters marched from Yerevan State University (YSU) to the Armenian government building, demanding that the Armenian authorities ensure the Artsakh people's security.
