Armenia will establish an embassy in Doha, the capital of Qatar, according to a draft decision adopted by the government on Wednesday.
The document cites friendly ties between Armenia and Qatar, the high living standard and investment opportunities of the Arab country, as well as the growing trade turnover and tourism between the two countries.
According to the decision, Qatar has also expressed readiness to open its own embassy in Yerevan in case Armenia opens its representation in Doha.
