At the invitation of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev paid a visit to Armenia on August 12-13.
As ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan and Nikolai Patrushev met to discuss a large array of security issues on August 12. In particular, the parties exchanged opinions on the development of the Armenian-Russian strategic relations, the expansion of cooperation within the framework of the CSTO and the use of new opportunities. The issue of regulating armaments sales to third countries was also discussed.
