PanARMENIAN.Net - White Violet – a small social enterprise in Spitak creates natural plant-based oils. 12 plant extracts have been obtained in the production: nettle, chamomile, rose, basil, even lilac and dandelion, but people behind the project have decided to have linden, sand thorn and rosehip seed oils as the main products.
White Violet was founded by a human rights non-governmental organization operating in Spitak, which deals with the protection of women's and children's rights. The production workers are women, they are the beneficiaries of the human rights organization.
The enterprise has become an employer and a stable source of income: in the future they want to expand their activity and create workplace for more than 50 women in Lori region.
White Violet is one of the beneficiaries of Acba Federation educational program; thanks to the financing the company received a chance to become a member of Impact Hub ecosystem within one year. Thanks to the program, the social enterprise has passed trainings and received consultation on methods in different spheres.
In the future the product range will expand; after positioning themselves as a vegetale oil manufacturer they will create essential oils for cosmetic purposes.
