
The Armenia bloc has filed an appeal to the Constitutional Court to overturn the June 27 decision of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on the official results of the June 20 snap parliamentary elections, Aram Vardevanyan, a senior member of the bloc, said on Friday.
Speaking at a news conference, he said the bloc has challenged the constitutionality, legality and factual circumstances of the CEC decision.
Vardevanyan said the application is quite extensive and includes evidence, including electronic media. The Constitutional Court will make the application of the bloc a subject of discussion both in terms of quantitative violations, which refer to the offences that were committed during the voting day and about which data were presented from different polling stations, and in terms of quality.
