Three kangaroos mauled to death by stray dogs at Yerevan Zoo

Three kangaroos at the Yerevan Zoo have been mauled to death by several stray dogs early morning on Thursday.

The Yerevan Zoo said in a statement that the dogs entered the zoo territory at 05:00.

Zoo personnel contacted an agency in charge of dealing with stray dogs for assistance.

Veterinarians attempted to save the kangaroos but failed to do so.

The bucks were brought to the Yerevan Zoo from the Chisinau Zoo in Moldova in 2018.
