PanARMENIAN.Net - A two-year-old toddler named Artsvik, who was injured in Azerbaijan's bombing of the town of Martuni, Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) is getting better, his condition now stable, said Gevorg Derdzyan, a spokesman for Surb Astvatsamayr medical center of Yerevan.
The child underwent surgery after being hospitalized in the Armenian capital․
"The complicated operation on the head went well, the kid's life is no longer in danger. He continues to receive proper medical care and is closely watched by the staff," Derdzyan said in a Facebook post.
Artsvik's nine-year-old sister had died in the rocket attack, unleashed by Azerbaijan on civilian settlements.
Another child from Karabakh, 13-year-old Robert had also been rushed to Yerevan after sustaining severe injuries. Now Derdzyan says there are positive changes in the young boy's condition too: "He has started eating on his own, his consciousness is more active."
