Armenia has slightly improved its standing on the World Bank’s Human Capital Index (HCI), which measures the amount of human capital that a child born today can expect to attain by age 18.
The country’s overall HCI value is 0.58 (it was 0.57 in 2018), which means that a child born in Armenia today will be 58 percent as productive when she grows up as she could be if she enjoyed complete education and full health.
