Official farewell ceremony for President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos was held at the Armenian President’s residence on November 6, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.
The Greek President arrived in Armenia on a two-day official visit.
Summing up the results of the visit during a brief talk the Armenian and Greek Presidents highlighted the high level of the bilateral relations.
“I think that we managed to take several small, but important steps just within a day. These steps are on a right direction so that much more important decisions will be made in the future and cooperation ways will open between Armenia and Greece, the Greek and the Armenian peoples and our Diasporas”, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian said.
