The official opening of the Armenia-Argetine Chamber of Commerce in Armenia took place yesterday. Artur Hakobyan, the CEO of Converse Bank took part in the ceremony.
As the Bank said in a press release, the event was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia. Guests from Argentina, managers of Converse Bank and the representatives of business community and government institutions of Armenia were present.
“Converse Bank is one of the first companies of Armenia with Argentine capital, whose main shareholder is Mr. Eduardo Eurnekian. Today Eurnekian Family also manages Tierras de Armenia, Karas Wines, and Armenia International Airports. The foundation of these companies not only stimulated the development of various branches of economy, but also created thousands of new and stable jobs,” Artur Hakobyan, the CEO of Converse Bank stated.
He expressed willingness on behalf of Converse Bank to show comprehensive support to the activities of the Chamber, underlining that “The Armenian-Argentine Chamber of Commerce is assuming a rather exciting commitment – to connect countries and businesses thousands of miles apart.”
