18th KIN International Women's Film Festival kicks off on Monday

The 18th KIN International Women's Film Festival starts on Monday, November 29.

This year, the film festival will be held both online and offline, its press service said.

The screenings will be held at AGBU Armenia Hall (2/2 Melik-Adamyan Street).

The films will become available online after their live screenings. Each film is available for 300 online views.

The opening ceremony will be followed by a screening of the competition program films, including “Marvelous” (dir. Lusine Zakaryan, documentary, Armenia, 6 min), “When Autumn Leaves “ (dir. Rachel Gawie, Fiction, Israel, 20 min), “Under a Ceiling in Tehran” (dir. Kimia Eyzad Panah, Fiction, Germany/Iran, 23 min), “Hear Us Sweet Freedom!” (dir. Helen Ispirian, Fiction, Germany, 12 min) and “Merry Grandmas”, (dir. Natalia Mirzoyan, Animation, Russia, 8 min).

The films will be screened in the original language, with Armenian translation (via headphones) and English subtitles.

Entrance to all screenings is free.

A total of 51 films from 19 countries will be screened as part of the traditional Competition and Guest programs.
