Armenian police set to keep a national DNA database

The Police of Armenia proposes to establish a national DNA database, Deputy Police Chief of Armenia, Police Mayor-General Vardan Yeghiazaryan stated on Monday at the National Assembly Defense and Security Committee sitting.
The changes will enable amendments to the RA Law on Police expected to be debated at the parliament and are aimed at conforming the law to the Constitution of the country.
