The 12th International Hrant Dink Award was presented in an online ceremony streamed on the social media accounts of the Hrant Dink Foundation on Tuesday, September 15, Bianet reported.
This year's awards have been granted to arrested human rights defender and businessman Osman Kavala from Turkey and women's rights activist Mozn Hassan from Egypt.
"I am honored to be one of the many feminists from around the world who received this award for their struggle against all forms of discrimination against women and other vulnerable groups" said Mozn Hassan in her acceptance speech that she sent form Egypt.
