The National Security Service of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has uncovered a high treason case involving a serviceman of the Defense Army.
The man, identified only by his initials L.G., who is an Artsakh citizen, communicated with foreign intelligence services via social media and transferred classified military secrets to them in return for $1,550 in 2021, the NSS said in a statement on Friday.
In January and February 2021, the soldier established contact with a foreign agent posing as a young Armenian woman on Facebook and was paid $150 for providing some military information.
