The office of the President of Armenia has hired another disabled soldier, Liparit Melkonyan who was injured during the April Four-Day War, the Facebook page of the president reported.
“It was a year ago when the President called on public and private sector representatives to employ people with disabilities acquired during military service. As an example and a display of a moral commitment the staff of the President’s Office made the first step months ago offering a job to Armenian veteran serviceman Gor Darmanyan wounded in 2015. As the President Sarkissian noted then the process would be continuous and today, on the occasion of Citizen’s Day the Office of the President hires another defender of the homeland Liparit Melkonyan, ensuring one more citizen of the Republic of Armenia is secured with a job,” the message posted on Facebook read.
