
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with Cabinet members and other government officials, visited the town of Spitak Saturday morning to pay tribute to the victims of the 1988 earthquake. December 7 is the 31st anniversary of the devastating tremor which killed tens of thousands.
After a prayer at the memorial honoring the victims, the PM and the delegation laid flowers. The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to also lay flowers at the memorial dedicated to the 2011 Japan earthquake and the memorial dedicated to the victims of the 2016 April War in Artsakh.
