By now the only principles adopted as bases for negotiations of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement are the Madrid Principles. There are no other documents yet, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan told the reporters after the Cabinet meeting.
“It’s difficult to say what can lead to the resumption f negotiations. But at the moment the Madrid Principles are the only document that have been adopted by Armenia and Azerbaijan as basis for negotiations, but have not been adopted by Artsakh. Each side can offer some options and approaches, but as long as they are unacceptable for the opposite side, they cannot be adopted. Armenia has not approved those principles, it has just adopted them as bases for negotiations.
