
“The Armenian-Chinese relations have historical roots. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992 the relations became more stable. There are no issues between our countries from political perspective, there is high level mutual trust and frequent mutual visits are paid”, ARMENPRESS reports the Ambassador as saying.
According to him, trade and economic relations between the two countries develop firmly and confidently. “Starting from 2009 China remains Armenia’s top 2nd trade partner. I mean for separate countries, since if we take the EU as a whole, Chine becomes 3rd. Mutual trade turnover between Armenia and China amounts to 10 or 11% of Armenia’s foreign trade turnover”, Tian Erlong said, adding that according to Armenia’s statistics trade turnover amounted to 500 million USD during the period of January-July 2019.
