YEREVAN. – As of Sunday 8:00 pm, the voter turnout in the National Assembly election in Armenia was 60.86 percent of eligible voters.
Overall, 1,574,974 out of 2,587,706 eligible voters took part in the elections, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Tigran Mukuchyan noted at a briefing.
Accordingly, the voter turnout in capital city Yerevan was 58.46 percent (494,455 voters), in Gyumri—51.02 percent (63,779 voters), and the voter turnout in Vanadzor was 54.69 percent (55,593 voters).
