Nikol Pashinyan could not serve as acting prime minister of Armenia after stepping down on April 25, since the resignation “implies removal of a person from office amid public pressure”, lawyer Ara Zohrabyan, a member of the Zartonk (Awakening) National Christian Party, said in his closing remarks at the Constitutional Court hearings on the opposition demands to overturn the results of last month’s snap elections on Wednesday.
He stated that the voter lists did not reflect the real picture and were inflated.
In his closing statement, Zohrabyan referred to the key issues and electoral offences outlined in their appeal, as well as the motions filed by the party.
