Azerbaijan has neither military nor political resources at present to resume the war in Nagorno Karabakh, and Turkey remains the only regional state interested in war in order to solve own problems under the veil of military actions, former Defense Minister of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan told a press conference on Saturday, adding despite the anticipated guarantees over non-resumption of the war, Azerbaijan continued its provocative actions right after the Vienna Summit.
The former minister stressed no international structure is able to force the Karabakh conflict sides to make concessions, suggesting to not count on that option. “On the other hand, Azerbaijan realizes it is unable to solve the Karabakh issue through large-scale military actions. Aliyev [President of Azerbaijan] has now chosen a tactic of alleging about Yerevan and Zangezur to be Azerbaijani territories and replicating a desire to capture them,” noted the minister....
