Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the December 9 snap parliamentary elections at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, the first one held after the voting.
“I am happy to document that our government has received a convincing vote of confidence from the citizens at the early parliamentary elections which means that we still have a lot of work to do in near future,” Pashinyan said.
The Armenian leader outlined the upcoming key priorities of his government, with the investment promotion and facilitation being the first priority action in the contest of the economic revolution.
“We should record that there is a great interest toward making investments in Armenia which will continue growing in the future. I want to draw the attention of all the state officials to the issue and task them to create all favourable conditions and not to create any obstacles for potential investors. I hope I will not receive any signal that investment projects are facing impediments,” Pashinyan said.
He also stressed the need to facilitate investment procedures as much as possible to avoid any artificial obstacles.
