A bust of the late Armenian-American business magnate and philanthropist Kirk Kerkorian (1917-2015) was inaugurated today in the town of Spitak on the 31st anniversary of the 1988 earthquake.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other government officials were in attendance of the opening ceremony.
People’s Artist of Armenia Levon Tokmajyan authored the sculpture.
He told reporters that he personally once met Kerkorian in Yerevan and gifted him a sculpture.
