Armenian PM, Egypt’s Ambassador discuss prospects of development of bilateral relations

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today received Bahaa El Din Bahgat Dessouki, the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia, ARMENPRESS was informed from the Office of the Prime MIniste rof Armenia.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the Premier said Armenia is keen to foster continued development of political, economic and cultural cooperation with Egypt. Hailing the current level of bilateral political relations, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the need to upgrade the economic cooperation to that benchmark. The Head of Government highlighted the role of the Armenian-Egyptian intergovernmental commission and the importance of business forums, which will help boost the bilateral trade turnover.

Bahaa El Din Bahgat Dessouki felicitated Prime Minister Pashinyan on the approval of his government’s program in the National Assembly and expressed confidence that the new government would meet the proposed targets and succeed in implementing an economic revolution.
