Armenia Ombudsman releases video about fact-finding works in civilian settlements of Tavush province

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia has released a video about the fact-finding activities carried out in Berd, Aygepar, Chinari, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Norashen communities of Tavush province which were affected recently from the Azerbaijani shelling, the Ombudsman’s Office told Armenpress.

It is reported that the fact-finding activities revealed reliable data about the shelling of Armenia’s civilian settlements starting from July 12. The report about the results is prepared immediately in English on a 24-hour basis.

Since July 12, during the military operations provoked by Azerbaijan at Armenia’s northern Tavush province, the Azerbaijani side is targeting the Armenian bordering settlements and civilian infrastructures, using mortar shells, heavy artillery – D-30 howitzer.

By violating all possible international norms and laws, the Azerbaijani side continues shelling Berd town, Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiragbyur, Movses, Chinari villages and other bordering communities.
